I’ve asked several times to “opt-out” of the “opt-out” upgrades, and they never let me. And trying to get a refund is an even bigger hassle. At one point I threatened them, and the best they could do was a refund check in the mail several months later.

After much struggle with Globat… I finally decided to cancel my account, in which I called, asked them to cancel everything. They agreed. But two months later, I am still getting charged, and they are refusing refunds.

Now I have to report my credit card stolen, just to get away from this company!!!

I do not suggest Globat web hosting to anyone. If you try to part with them, it will be completely one way, meaning you leave their services but they continue to take your money!

Extremely Disappointed after 3 years..

Globat had little problems in the past, usually quickly fixed, but recently they were acquired by a new company. I have had nothing by problems. My website has been reset, my email accounts all deleted – 2 times now! Tech support is laughable. They made me feel unimportant, and even like they thought I was incompetent until THEY saw the problem. No apologies, just an,”I’ll put a ticket in on this.” I then had to waste more time on a senior analyst. I have been on the phone with their Tech support more in the last month than I have been on the phone with my own Mother. My advise – Stay FAR away from Globat. I’m working on doing just that myself.

WebHostingPad is a standard cPanel 11 host. There is a little bit of wasted white space in the panel skin, but that is definitely not any major issue.

Only a single concurrent FTP connection is possible. This is annoying if you want to update your site often with large amounts of files. You will not be able to parallelize uploads.
